Thai Yellow Curry with Shrimp Blue Elephant Royal Thai Cuisine

I find many a time on my travels, I enthusiastically try to remember all the recipes I pick up from the streets from Bangkok to Barcelona, however whenever I get home I fined  I very rarely have the time to search for the ingredients to make the fantastic dishes I discovered. This time, on my way back from Bangkok I had some & Thai Bart to use up at the airport. Most the time there is nothing but overpriced useless stuff, however in this particular shop I found a Thai food section, it contained several shelves with different Thai food paste. So I thought maybe this is the answer to my lackadaisical attitude about searching the numerous exotic spices and herbs needed in a country where bread, Olive oil and tomatoes are considered a culture asset! So I picked up several assorted packets of curry pastes, even though I didn’t believe they would be that good.

Thai Yellow Curry with Shrimp Blue Elephant Royal Thai Cuisine !

So yesterday I attempted to make Thai yellow curry  a al Aven 😉 well ok a la Blue Elephant, Royal Thai Cuisine, great pack, all I have to do was add shrimp (or Chicken) Cherry Tomatoes, Coconut Milk, Asian fish sauce,  Asparagus, Onions and I included sweet potatoes.  It tasted great, 😉

overall I was very impressed it took about 20 minutes and was easy enough for three people or two healthy sized portions.

I can highly recommend this product no MSG, low in sodium, and the small packets of past with other required ingredients does seem to go a lot further than one would think.

I’m not sure where you can buy them in Europe but I’m going to for this blog to blue elephant Ltd and see if they can provide us with information where to buy the paste packs!
